Do you accept credit cards?
Yes. Mr. Kern’s criminal practice accepts all forms of major credit cards.

Do you offer payment plans?
Yes. Mr. Kern’s criminal practice does offer payment plans for those who qualify.

Do you have trial experience?
Yes. Mr. Kern has tried many cases throughout the county of San Diego.

Are their any alternatives to being sent to jail?
Yes. Depending on the type of case you have, you may be eligible for a drug program – Proposition 36, PC 1000, drug court. There are also alternatives to custody such as Probation, Sheriff’s Work Release, and Work Furlough.

Will you be the attorney working on my case?
Yes. Mr. Kern is a sole practitioner. Occasionally, another attorney may make an appearance, but all substantive aspects of your case – trials, motions, sentencing, discussions with the District Attorney, etc. – will be handled by Mr. Kern.

Do you practice outside of San Diego County?
Yes. Mr. Kern primarily practices throughout San Diego County – East County, South County, Central (Downtown), and North County. Occasionally, Mr. Kern will travel outside of the county to represent clients.
